Tuesday night was very exciting at our house-Grant lost 1 of his front teeth!!! We noticed it was loose Monday night and he wiggled all day at school Tuesday and before he went to bed he asked me to pull it-it was hanging by a thread. I think he just wanted the tooth fairy to come THAT night, he didn't want to wait until the next night. It makes him look SOOOO old!!! We are now awaiting that HUGE permanent tooth to start growing in!!!!!
His tooth right before we pulled it Tooth Fairy Pillow (pirate version)

Sweet Big Brother
Grant has been having fun taking pictures with my old camera the last couple of days. Today I uploaded some of my pictures to my computer and I found these on my camera that Grant must have taken this morning. When I woke up, I heard Harrison talking on the monitor and when I went into his room, Grant was in their playing with him. Harrison just loves both of his big brothers and I know was so glad to spend time with Grant today since Grant was out of school. Grant is really such a big help!!!
Nicholas at Gymnastics
One special thing Nicholas gets to do while Grant is at big boy school is go to take gymnastics at River City on Tuesday mornings. He always asks-are we going to gymnastics today? He is actually really good at his skills-balance beam, doing back flips on the rings, doing forward & backward rolls, jumping on the trampoline, doing flips on the bars, etc. His only problem is that he gets so excited and tends to forget to listen to his teacher!!!!(we're working on that though)

Halloween Night 2008
Halloween is such a fun holiday and I think this year the kids really got into the spirit of it. We had a crew (Nana, Papa, Pepka, Gi-Gi, Martha, Madeline, Lacy and Leslie) over to eat before we took the kids trick or treating. Grant really got into the whole trick or treat thing, Nicholas trick or treated at 1 house before heading home to pass out candy to our trick or treaters. Harrison probably had the most fun of all, we started him out in the wagon and he quickly decided it would be so much more fun to run, and that's what he did the rest of the night. He was being such a ham, cracking everybody up being so silly. I think he's going to be some sort of a performer when he grow up because he likes an audience. Halloween fun was had by all!!!!!
A rare picture of Nick with his wig on( he started out with a full face of clown makeup and I quickly took it off due to the fact that it ended up all over everything), along with Lacy, Grant and Harrison Grant and his school & neighborhood buddy Garrett

Pumpkin Carving 101
Halloween is not complete without carving a few pumkins, so the other afternoon the boys and I went out on the deck and tried our hand at carving pumpkins that weren't just eyes, nose, mouth (which is all I had ever carved). Grant picked out the designs and they actually turned out pretty good. This is a fun family tradition that we just have to do every year!!!
Woodland's Edge Halloween Carnival 2008
Last Sunday afternoon we went down to our neighboorhood park/clubhouse for our annual Halloween Carnival. Ted was busy at work, so we met Mom, Darryl, Dad, Scottie, Catherine, Brian, Jackson and all of our great neighborhood friends for a fun afternoon of games, bouncing in the bounce house, hayride, playing on the playground, etc. This was kind of a kick-off to the week of Halloween!!!!
